Sowing of winter crops has begun in Ukraine

Ukrainian farmers have started the fall sowing season. 484.1 thsd ha have already been sown. Farmers in Vinnytsia, Lviv and Bukovyna regions have started sowing winter crops. A total of 37.9 thsd ha have been sown. Agricultural producers in 8 regions are sowing winter rape, which is planted on 446.2 thou hectares.
In particular, the following crops were sown:
- winter wheat – 27.7 thsd ha;
- winter barley – 2.2 thsd ha;
- winter rye – 8 thsd ha;
- winter rape – 446.2 thsd ha.
Farmers in Volyn and Ternopil regions have completed sowing of winter rape.
