Sowing campaign in Ukraine nearly complete

As of 18 November, Ukrainian farmers have sown 6.39 mln ha of winter crops, representing 97.5% of the planned area.
Specifically, sowing includes:
- Winter wheat – 4.66 mln ha
- Winter barley – 582.2 thsd ha
- Winter rye – 66.1 thsd ha
The leaders in grain sowing are Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
Winter crop sowing has been completed in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Rivne, and Chernihiv regions.
Farmers across all regions have also practically finished sowing winter rapeseed.
A total of 1.08 mln ha of winter rapeseed has been planted, which accounts for 96% of the planned area.
