This was stated by First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Taras Vysotsky during a press briefing at Media Center Ukraine. He also noted how crop patterns have changed, how much crops have already been lost and how much damage to the agricultural industry he is talking about.
“The sowing campaign has not begun by the beginning of the war yet, but the agrarians have already prepared for it actively. So, the main material and technical resources have been bought and in many cases delivered: more than 80% of mineral fertilizers, about 70−80% of seeds, 60% of crop protection, about one third of fuel”, said Vysotsky.
According to his words, such early preparation played an important role for all present indicators of sowing.
