South Korea purchased 65 thsd tons of feed wheat
On December 2, South Korean animal feed manufacturer Nonghyup Feed Inc (NOFI) purchased 65,000 tons of feed wheat at a tender, according to Reuters.
Dreyfus won the tender and will supply the wheat at $261.65 per ton, plus $1.30 per ton if delivered to two ports.
Wheat may be shipped from any country except Argentina and Pakistan. Shipments from Russian and Ukrainian Black Sea ports are also prohibited.
Shipments are scheduled from March 8 to 27 from ports in Australia, Canada, and the US Pacific Northwest, from February 16 to March 7 from ports in the Gulf of Mexico, from February 21 to March 12 from European ports, and from February 11 to March 2 from South American ports.
If the wheat is shipped from ports in Australia or the US Northwest Coast, the shipment size is reduced to 50,000-60,000 tons.
The purchased grain will arrive in South Korea by April 15, 2026.
