South Korea purchased 50 thsd tons of milling wheat.
Today, November 7, a group of South Korean millers purchased 50,000 tons of milling wheat from the United States at auction, Reuters reported.
The wheat was purchased from United Grain Corporation on a FOB basis:
- 24,670 tons of soft white wheat (SWW) with a protein content of 9.5-11% at $232.53 per ton;
- 2,780 tons of soft white wheat (SWW) with a protein content of up to 9% at $242.33 per ton;
- 10,405 tons of hard red wheat (HRW) with a protein content of 11.5% at $246.37 per ton;
- 12,145 tons of northern spring dark wheat (DNS) with a protein content of 14% at $261.11 per ton FOB.
Under the tender terms, shipment will take place from January 15 to February 15, 2026.
