Singapore increasing its presence in the Ukrainian palm oil market
Palm oil imports in September-June 2019/20 were the lowest in three seasons, at 163.7 KMT (down 11.5% year-on-year), UkrAgroConsult reports.
Imports from the key suppliers changed as follows: Malaysia – down 31%, Indonesia – down 17%.
Palm oil purchases from Singapore became regular (17% of total imports).
In June, palm oil imports returned to pre-quarantine level.
Total palm oil imports this season will be down more than 10-12%.
