Russian wheat exports down 12%
According to preliminary data, Russia exported 11.5 MMT of wheat in July-September 2019/20, i.e. 12% less than in the same period in MY 2018/19, reports UkrAgroConsult.
As before, the top importers are Turkey and Egypt. Azerbaijan became one of the three biggest buyers.
A boost in exports was registered to Azerbaijan (+218%), Turkey (+108%).
A slowdown in exports was observed to Vietnam (-53%), the EU (-51%) and Egypt (-39%).
