Russia reduced rapeseed exports in favor of domestic crush
Rapeseed exports in July-May 2019/20 decreased by 25% year-on-year. An increase was seen in domestic crush of this oilseed, UkrAgroConsult reports.
The biggest importer – Belarus – slashed purchases to 184.6 KMT vs 303.4 KMT a year earlier.
China slashed purchases by 34%.
The following major importers reinforced their position: Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Turkey and EU.
A slowdown in exports was registered to Iran (-76%), Bangladesh (-61%), Germany (-2%).
