Russia increased sunflower oil production by 23%

Vegetable oil production in Russia in September-May 2019/20 totaled 5831 KMT (+19.5% year-on-year), UkrAgroConsult reports.

Sunflower oil output increased by 23% from the same period last year, while rape oil production gained 4.5%, soybean oil production gained 4.6%.

According to official data on oilseeds stocks in Russia as of June 1:

• oilseeds stocks were down 33% from a year earlier;
• sunflower seed stocks were 41% down than last year.
