Russia increased sunflower oil production by 23%

Vegetable oil production in Russia in September-March 2019/20 totaled 4353 KMT (+15% year-on-year), UkrAgroConsult reports.

Sunflower oil output increased by 22.4% from the same period last year, while rape oil production gained 4.7%, soybean oil production gained 1.3%.

According to official data on oilseeds stocks in Russia as of April 1:

– oilseeds stocks were down 15.4% from a year earlier;
– sunflower seed stocks were 14.7% down than last year.
