Russia. Grain terminal with 1.5 MMT capacity to be built in Azov port
A project for grain terminal construction will be implemented in Azov seaport. The project aims at creating a grain and general cargo handling complex “Grain terminal in Azov seaport” with a throughput capacity of 1.5 MMT per year with a possible increase to 2 MMT per year, reports UkrAgroConsult.
The planned investment amount in the construction of the terminal will be almost RUB 2.6 billion. The projected capacity of the new object can be reached in 2024. The project provides for the accommodation and handling vessels with a capacity of up to 5 KMT. Financing is planned to be carried out at the expense of the project initiator and a bank loan.
