Romania. May’s rainfall improved harvest prospect for spring crops
Weather conditions. Air temperatures in Romania this past week were below long-term normals, ranging within +6..+18°C.
Moisture supply. This past week, high precipitation rates were reported all over the country (25-35 mm over the week).
May’s rainfall substantially eased moisture shortages in the top 0-50 cm soil layer and thereby improved harvest prospects for spring crops, UkrAgroConsult reports.
Soil moisture content is at good and fair levels everywhere except for the southeast.
