Romania imported over 0.5 million tons of Ukrainian agricultural products in three months

Romania imported 542.2 thsd tonnes of Ukrainian agricultural products in the period from May 1 to July 30, 2023.
This is evidenced by the data of the Romanian consulting company AGRIColumn.
Ukraine exported the following products to Romania:
- Corn – 287.09 thsd tonnes.
- Wheat – 185.05 thousand tons.
- Sunflower oil – 53.75 thousand tons.
- Sunflower – 7.97 thousand tons.
- Rapeseed – 5 thou tons.
- Wheat flour – 1.3 thousand tons.
As a reminder, the transit of Ukrainian agricultural products through Romania from May 1 to July 30, 2023, is more than 5 million tons. A significant part of it goes through the port of Constanta. In the first quarter of 2023, the port transshipped 3.33 mln tons of Ukrainian grain.
