Romania. Barley exports reached record in April 

According to the port data, in April 2019/20 Romania exported record volume of barley. This was all-time high for April with Saudi Arabia as a key buyer, UkrAgroConsult reports.

In July-April 2019/20 MY Romanian exports were by 39% higher compared to the same period last season, thanks to the export pace improvement in March and April and primarily in the destination of Saudi Arabia.

In the export structure, share of the top buyer – Saudi Arabia rose to 43% from 32% earlier due to the sluggish exports at the start of the season. However, this number is still below the last year`s 70% as of the same date.
