Requirements for the palm oil use for food purposes within the EAEU to be tightened
It is planned to toughen the requirements for the palm oil use in food production within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union, UkrAgroConsult reports.
It was decided to regulate content of chemical contaminants, in particular glycidyl ethers of fatty acids, by bringing relevant requirements into the uniform sanitary rules.
In addition, efforts are currently underway for entering relevant requirements into the fat-and-oil specifications, which will be considered by the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.
