Rapeseed prices on Euronext rise due to higher crude oil and soybean prices and weaker Euro
Euronext rapeseed prices rose on August 23-29. During the week the price increased by EUR 8.50 to 469.75 EUR/t.
Prices climbed due to higher crude oil and soybean prices and a weaker Euro. The European Commission lowered its estimate of EU rapeseed production by 400 K mt to 18 M mt. This forced an upward revision to the volume of rapeseed imports into the EU by 300 K mt to 5.8 M mt for the 2024/25 season.

Further development of the oilseed and vegoil sector in the Black Sea and Danube region will be discussed at the 10th International Conference BLACK SEA OIL TRADE on October 15th in Bucharest.
