Poland buys most of the surplus grain from farmers

Poland has already bought about 60% of its grain surplus to help farmers affected by the influx of Ukrainian grain to Poland. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture of Poland Robert Telus, according to Thefirstnews.
Telus also encouraged Polish farmers to sell their grain and take advantage of state aid, including subsidies of 3000 zlotys (670 euros) per hectare of wheat.
He added that from March to May, Poland exported more than 3 million tons of grain.
As previously reported, the UN World Food Program (WFP) is ready to send Ukrainian surplus grain from the European Union to countries in need.
