Only two domestic companies are among the top 5 exporters of Ukrainian grain

Kernel became the largest grain exporter from Ukraine in MY 2023/24. This is stated in the company’s annual report.
“Historically, we have been competing with well-known international trading houses such as COFCO, Cargill, ADM, Bunge, Louis Dreyfus and Glencore, as well as with numerous local counterparts. Over the past two years, many new, smaller players have entered the grain export market, quickly managing trade operations and gaining market share by utilizing alternative export routes during turbulent times,” the report says.
Kernel’s share is 10%, while last year it was 8%.
Among Ukrainian companies, NIBULON is also in the top with a 6% share (5% in 2023).
