Morocco’s grain harvest could grow to 8 mln tons
Morocco’s gross grain harvest in 2026 could reach 8 million tons, according to the High Planning Commission (HCP). In 2025, the country harvested 4.4 million tons of grain.
Abundant and well-distributed rainfall recorded since the end of November last year bodes well for Moroccan farmers. Agricultural production could be above average this year.
According to HCP forecasts, ample supply could lead to a 2% decline in agricultural prices in 2026 after stagnation in 2025.
Further development of the grain and oilseed markets of Ukraine and the Black Sea region will be in the spotlight of the BLACK SEA GRAIN. KYIV conference, taking place on April 22–23 in Kyiv. The event will focus on strategic directions for the agricultural sector through 2030, including investments, energy independence, processing, and exports of high-value products.
