More than 5 MMT of corn harvested in Ukraine
According to preliminary data as of October 5, 2020, the biggest year-on-year slowdown is observed in harvesting progress of crops such as:
- corn: -28.7% (-17.4% as of October 1, 2020),
- sunflower: -9.9% (-7.4%),
- soybean: -38.6% (-36.6%).
The following crops are harvested at a faster pace than last year:
- millet: +41.7% (+42.2%),
- buckwheat: +13.1% (+15.0%).
Lower yields than a year are registered for corn (-26.6%), soybean (-14.9%), sunflower (- 19.9%), UkrAgroConsult reports.
