MARS raises EU soft wheat yield forecast to 6.15 t/ha
The EU Crop Monitoring Service (MARS) has raised its soft wheat yield forecast for the bloc in 2025 to 6.15 t/ha, up from 6.09 t/ha in July. The expected yield is 7% higher than the five-year average.
The durum yield is estimated at 3.76 t/ha. The July estimate was 3.78 t/ha, according to the MARS bulletin.
The spring barley forecast has been raised from 5 t/ha to 5.01 t/ha, and the winter barley forecast from 5.45 t/ha to 5.51 t/ha.
The corn yield estimate has been reduced from 7.18 t/ha to 6.93 t/ha.

Rye — 4.29 t/ha
Triticale — 4.49 t/ha
Rapeseed — 3.24 t/ha
Potatoes — 36.8 t/ha
Sugar beet — 74.6 t/ha
Sunseed — 1.83 t/ha
Soybeans — 2.74 t/ha
Beans — 2.82 t/ha
Peas — 2.30 t/ha
Feed corn — 42.6 t/ha
