Malaysian palm oil exports up in March

Malaysia shipped more than 1.33 million tons of palm oil and palm products to foreign markets last month, up 20.5% from February, according to Intertek Testing Services.
According to their estimates, the main volumes of these products were sold to India – 311.13 thousand tons against 218.115 thousand tons a month earlier. The second position is occupied by the EU countries with the indicator of 272.935 thousand tons against 319.28 thousand tons. China closes the three – 89.385 thousand tons against 88.17 thousand tons.
In March, palm olein was most often exported abroad – 393.67 thousand tons (292.9 thousand tons in February). Then comes crude palm oil and refined palm oil – 278.67 thousand tons (242.6 thousand tons) and 128 thousand tons (102.345 thousand tons) respectively.
Recall that Malaysia, according to Intertek Testing Services, exported 1.106 million tons of palm products in February and 1.286 million tons in January.
