Lebanon buys 63 thsd tons of Ukrainian wheat at tender

According to the market operators, the Lebanese government contracted 63 thsd tons of milling wheat originating from Ukraine following the tender.
57 thsd tons of wheat were purchased at the price of $248 per tonne C&F in batches: 43 thsd tons for delivery in June (prompt delivery) and 6.5 thsd tons for delivery in July.
Another 6 thousand tons were purchased at $247 per tonne C&F for delivery in July.
The financing was provided by the World Bank as part of its ongoing wheat purchase program for Lebanon.
