Kernel provides over 9% of all Ukrainian merchandise exports
Kernel topped the ranking of the largest exporters of Ukraine for 2025 according to Forbes Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the agricultural holding.
According to Forbes, Kernel for the second year in a row maintains absolute leadership in two key export categories of the country – grains and sunflower oil and occupies the first position in the overall ranking.
In particular, Kernel exported agricultural products worth $3.8 billion during the year. This is 9.1% of all Ukrainian merchandise exports and 16% of all agricultural exports of the country.
So every tenth dollar that comes to Ukraine from the export of goods comes from Kernel.
“Today, the agricultural sector is the largest source of foreign exchange earnings in Ukraine. And Kernel is its leader.
“The figure of $3.8 billion in exports is the company’s direct contribution to the economic stability and foreign exchange balance of Ukraine,” says Yevgeny Osypov, CEO of Kernel.
Further development of the grain and oilseed markets of Ukraine and the Black Sea region will be in the spotlight of the BLACK SEA GRAIN. KYIV conference, taking place on April 22–23 in Kyiv. The event will focus on strategic directions for the agricultural sector through 2030, including investments, energy independence, processing, and exports of high-value products.
