Kazakhstan permitted exports of unrefined sunflower oil, but on a limited basis
The Ag Ministry of Kazakhstan has designed a mechanism of setting export quotas for unrefined sunflower oil instead of a previously imposed ban. The latter shall still be applied to refined sunoil.
For determining the quota size for each next month, “Fat-and-Oil Union of Kazakhstan” Association will monthly submit consolidated information to the Ag Ministry on planned production and consumption volumes of unrefined sunflower oil, its availabilities and exports.
The restrictions will be in force until September 1, 2020, UkrAgroConsult reports.
