Kazakhstan has 12.4 mln tons of wheat left in its bins

The data on grain stocks was announced by the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan. According to the information, as of March 1, the stocks of grains and pulses in the country amount to 14.97 mln tons.
- The available wheat stock is 12.4 mln tons. Of this, 10.5 mln tons is milling wheat, 1.1 mln tons is seed, and 700 thsd tons is feed wheat.
- Hard wheat stock is 860 thsd tons.
- Corn stock is 104 thsd tons.
- Rice stock is 210 thsd tons.
- Barley stock is 1.5 mln tons.
- Rye stock is 19 thsd tons.
- Oats stock is 218 thsd tons.
- Buckwheat stock is 80 thsd tons.
Additionally, according to official data, in 2024, wheat exports amounted to 5.9 mln tons, with imports at 1.6 mln tons. Barley exports totaled 1.6 mln tons, and imports were 211 thsd tons. Corn exports were 212 thsd tons, and imports were nearly 18 thsd tons. Rice exports totaled 104 thsd tons, with imports at 19 thsd tons.
