Kazakhstan began the season with a slowdown in wheat exports
Kazakhstan exported 309.8 KMT of wheat in September 2019/20, or 18% less than in September 2018/19, reports UkrAgroConsult.
This could be compared with the first month of the season in the previous years:
– a total of 10 countries imported Kazakh wheat in the first month of MY 2019/20;
– Kazakhstan reduced exports to all of its markets against the same time last year, except for the following countries: Uzbekistan: +22%, Tajikistan: +110%, China: +60%, Iran: +34%, but the volume of supplies was insignificant;
– no new destinations emerged.
