Kazakhstan. Abundant precipitation hampered harvest progress
Weather conditions. On September 21-30, most of Kazakhstan was exposed to night frost (-2°C – -4°C, locally down to -8°C). It was not dangerous for ripe grain of spring cereals, but complicated harvesting operations at morning hours.
Moisture supply. Most of the country’s main grain growing zone received abundant precipitation that hindered harvest progress, reports UkrAgroConsult.
Crop condition. Spring wheat: excellent and good; sunflower: mostly good.
