Kazakhstan. A record start to the new linseed export season

Linseed exports from Kazakhstan in September 2019/20 hit a record high of 28.5 KMT, or 111% more than a year earlier. The EU, which is the top importer (absorbs 60% of total exports), boosted purchases by 78%.
China bought some 11 KMT and became the second biggest importer (regular purchases began from November 2019), UkrAgroConsult reports.
The following countries boosted linseed imports from Kazakhstan: Belgium (+359%), Tajikistan (+167%), Czech Republic (+27%).
A slowdown in exports was observed to: Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Germany.
