Jordanian traders report that Jordan has bid to purchase 120,000 tons feed barley
European traders reported on Thursday that Jordan’s state grain buyer had issued an international tender for the purchase of up to 120,000 tons of animal feed barley.
The deadline to submit price offers is Friday, June 25.
Traders had expected a new announcement after Jordan failed to purchase 120,000 tons barley in its previous tender on Wednesday.
The new tender seeks to ship in combinations of consignments between 50,000 and 60,000 tons from September 16-30, 1-15 October, 16-31 October, 1-15 November.
Jordan also announced a separate tender for the purchase of up to 120,00 tons of wheat. The tender closes on 24 June.
