Jordan purchased 60 thousand tons of wheat

On September 18, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Jordan held a tender for the purchase of 120 thousand tons of milling wheat of random origin. This was reported by Zerno On-line agency with reference to European traders.
60 thousand tons of wheat was purchased from CHS at $265.95 per ton C&F Aqaba with delivery December 16-31, 2024.
The following companies also participated in the tender:
- Solaris, which offered wheat at $268.25 per ton
- Cereal crop trading LLC – $276
- Al Dahra – $276.50
- Ameropa – $280.90
- Andersons – $280.69
- Cargill – $280.50
- Viterra – $287
The next tender for purchase of similar volume of wheat will be held on September 25. Wheat delivery is scheduled for January 1 through February 28, 2025.
