Jordan offers to purchase up to 120,000 tonnes of wheat, traders claim
The state grain buyer of Jordan has announced an international tender for up to 120,000 tons of milling wheat that can come from optional origins.
The deadline to submit price proposals in the tender is 18 March.
Traders had expected a new announcement after Jordan failed to purchase 120,000 tons wheat in its previous tender on Tuesday.
The new tender seeks to ship a number of combinations between 50,000 and 60,000 tons. Combinations of shipments are possible between July 1-15. July 16-31. Aug. 1-15. and Aug. 16.31.
On Wednesday, a separate tender for animal feed barley from Jordan of up to 120,000 tonnes also ends.
