Jordan offers to purchase up to 120,000 tonnes of wheat, traders claim

The state grain buyer of Jordan has announced an international tender for up to 120,000 tons of milling whey that can come from optional origins.
The deadline to submit price offers for the tender is February 25.
Traders had expected a new announcement after Jordan failed to purchase 120,000 tons wheat in its previous tender on Tuesday.
The new tender seeks to ship in consignments of 50,000-60,000 tons in various combinations. Combinations of shipments are possible between May 15-31 and June 1-15. June 16-30 is also an option. July 1-15 or July 16-31.
On Wednesday, a separate tender for animal feed barley up to 120,000 tonnes from Jordan also ends.
