Jordan held a tender for the purchase of wheat
On December 9, the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade held a tender for 120,000 tons of milling wheat of any origin, with shipment scheduled for February 16-28, 2026. This was reported by the Zerno On-Line news agency, citing European traders.
60,000 tons of milling wheat were contracted at $263 per ton on a C&F basis from Buildcom.
The following companies also participated in the tender:
- CHS, which bid $264.79 per ton;
- Cargill – $266.85;
- Cofco – $264.85;
- Ameropa – $266.89.
The next tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons of milling wheat of any origin, with shipment scheduled for March-April, will be held on December 16.
Today, November 10, the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade will also hold a tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons of feed barley of any origin.
