Jordan held a tender for the purchase of wheat
On November 18, the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade held a tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons of milling wheat of any origin, with shipment scheduled for January 16-31, 2026. This was reported by the Zerno On-Line news agency, citing European traders.
60,000 tons of milling wheat were contracted at $263.85 per ton on a C&F basis from CHS.
The following companies also participated in the tender:
- Buildcom, which bid $264.77 per ton;
- Cofco – $265.50;
- Cargill – $265.95.
Tomorrow, November 19, the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade will also hold a tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons of feed barley of any origin.
