Jordan cancels wheat tender again
On August 19, the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade cancelled a tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons of milling wheat of any origin with shipment on October 1-31 and November 1-30. This was reported by the Zerno On-Line agency with reference to European traders.
Five companies took part in the tender: Cargill, CHS, Al Dahra, Aston and Ameropa.
The previous several tenders for the purchase of wheat were also cancelled.
The next attempt to purchase 120,000 tons of milling wheat of any origin will take place on August 26.
