Jordan has canceled its previously announced barley purchase tender, traders said on condition of anonymity. The reasons for the cancellation were not disclosed, but such decisions are typically linked to offered prices or prevailing market conditions at the time bids are submitted. At the same time, the country has issued a new tender to buy up to 120,000 metric tons of feed barley. The deadline for submitting price offers is February 4, with shipment scheduled for March–April.

In parallel, Jordan’s state grain buyer has launched an international tender to purchase up to 120,000 metric tons of milling wheat of optional origin. The deadline for price offers is February 3. Shipments are sought in 60,000-ton lots for delivery windows of March 1–15, March 16–31, May 1–15, or May 16–31.
