Jordan cancels barley procurement tender

On October 8, the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade cancelled a tender for 120,000 tons of feed barley of any origin, according to the Zerno On-Line news agency, citing European traders.
Bunge participated in the tender.
The next tender for 120,000 tons of feed barley of any origin, with shipment scheduled for November 16 to December 15, is expected to take place on October 15.
On October 7, the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade cancelled a tender for 120,000 tons of milling wheat of any origin. Five companies participated in the tender: CHS, Cargill, Al Dahra, Ameropa, and Cofco.
The next attempt to purchase 120,000 tons of wheat will take place on October 14. Shipment is scheduled for January-February 2026.
