Jordan again canceled the tender for wheat purchase

On May 21, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Jordan canceled the tender for the purchase of 120 thousand tons of milling wheat of random origin. This was reported by Zerno On-Line agency with reference to European traders.
Eight companies took part in the tender: Viterra, CHS, Cargill, Ameropa, The Anderson’s, GrainStar, Al Dahra, Dolje. They offered wheat at the price of $286-302 per ton.
A previous tender scheduled for May 14 was also canceled.
The next tender to purchase a similar volume of wheat will be held on May 28.
