Indonesia to raise crude palm oil reference price for October, official says
Indonesia will raise its crude palm oil (CPO) reference price for October to $893.64 per metric ton from $839.53 in September, trade ministry official Farid Amir told Reuters on Monday.
The new price will put the export tax for October at $74per ton. Indonesia also imposes a 7.5% levy of the reference price for CPO exports, while the levy for more refined palm oil products is charged at between 3% and 6% of the reference price. The regulation stating the reference price has yet to be published.
