India’s February palm oil imports drop 36% m/m, trade body says

India’s palm oil imports in February fell about 36% from the previous month to 497,824 metric tons, a trade body said on Wednesday.
Imports of soyoil slipped 8% to 172,936 tons, those of sunflower oil were up about 35% at 297,092 tons, while total vegetable oil imports fell 19% to 0.97 million tons, the Mumbai-based Solvent Extractors’ Association of India (SEA) said in a statement.
