Importers increasing corn starch purchases from Ukraine
Ukrainian exporters shipped to foreign markets about 80 KMT of corn starch (up 64% year-on-year), UkrAgroConsult reports.
Such growth in exports was enabled by a gain in production, which reached 118 KMT in September-June (up 44% year-on-year).
All major importers stepped up purchases: Indonesia (+2%), the UAE (+41%), the EU (+47%), Taiwan (+129%), Malaysia (23%).
Saudi Arabia and China boosted demand substantially (up 11 times and 7 times, respectively).
