IFC interested in deep processing projects in Ukraine

The Ukrainian agricultural sector should develop deeper processing. Agricultural producers are now interested in this area, and IFC is trying to help them implement such projects.
This was stated by the head of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) representative office in Ukraine, Olena Voloshyna, during the BLACK SEA GRAIN.KYIV conference.
“IFC financed the MHP biogas plant, another soybean processing project is in the works. The second direction we are engaged in is attracting global players to the Ukrainian market so that they can build processing plants in Ukraine. This is also a very promising direction,” says Olena Voloshyna.
According to her, IFC has a program under which the International Finance Corporation, together with the client, can prepare a project, develop a business plan and then finance it. Two projects have already been implemented in Ukraine using this tool.
