Harvesting is still not completed on 7% of the areas in Ukraine
As of January 15, 2026, 76.47 million tons of grain, pulses and oilseed crops were harvested in Ukraine from 96% of the area. This is evidenced by operational data from the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture.
Currently, the harvest is ongoing, but the pace remains slow. In particular:
- 28.86 million tons of corn were threshed (+ 200 thousand tons per week) from 4.02 million hectares (92% of the area) with an average yield of 7.17 t/ha;
- Sunflower seeds – 9.28 million tons from 4.84 million hectares (93%) with an average yield of 1.92 t/ha (unchanged for the week);
- Soybeans – 4.85 million tons from 2.04 million hectares (99%) with an average yield of 2.37 t/ha (unchanged for the week);
- Other grains and pulses — 957.1 thousand tons from 334.1 thousand hectares (85%).
The harvest was fully completed in Vinnytsia, Zakarpattia, Zaporizhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Khmelnytskyi and Chernivtsi regions.
