French raises wheat harvest forecast
The French Ministry of Agriculture has increased its estimate of soft wheat production in the country in 2024 from 25.43 to 25.56 million tons. The projected yield is still the lowest since the 1980s, Reuters writes.
The corn forecast is raised from 14.47 million tons to 14.62 million tons.
The sugar beet production estimate was lowered from 34.18 to 33.73 million tons.
