Forecast for Kazakh grain exports reduced
The Ag Ministry of Kazakhstan has reduced its forecast for 2019/20 grain and flour exports to 7 MMT. The previous forecast was at 8 to 9 MMT, reports UkrAgroConsult.
The following reasons for the forecast decrease were mentioned:
– the grain crop turned out to be below its projected size due to weather conditions;
– a large grain crop in the neighboring countries which are major grain exporters.
