Flour exports from Ukraine keep falling
6.84 KMT of Ukrainian flour was exported in January (-30% from December, -81% from January 2019/20). In total 86.41 KMT had been shipped abroad this season or 62% lower compared to year ago. This is a nine-year low, UkrAgroConsult reports.
As before, the biggest importer of Ukrainian flour is the UAE with a 20% share.
The majority of buyers have reduced imports in MY 2020/21, with the greatest drops seen in shipments to the following importers: China (-94%), Mozambique (-80%), Singapore (-73%), the UAE (-72%).
Among major export destinations, only the following ones featured an increase: Israel (+70%) and Venezuela (+87%).
