Five regions of Ukraine completed harvesting of peas, two winter barley

The harvest of 2022 is moving forward with confidence. Vinnitsa, Volyn, Donetsk, Kyiv and Mykolaev regions have completed the threshing of peas. Also, the farmers of Vinnytsia and Transcarpathia have finished harvesting winter barley.
During the period of harvesting grain and pulses crops, 11.8 million tons of grain of the new crop were harvested on an area of 3.5 million hectares (29%), incl.
- wheat threshed 2.3 million hectares, threshed 8 million tons;
- barley threshed 1 million 73 thousand hectares threshed 3.5 million tons;
- peas threshed 96.5 thousand hectares, threshed 193 thousand tons.
In addition, winter rapeseed was harvested on an area of 702 thousand hectares (61%) and 1.8 million tons of seeds were harvested.
Agricultural producers of Odesa, Dnepropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia and Kirovohrad regions harvested more than 1 million tons of grain each.
