Exports of Ukrainian flour fell by 36%

In the first 7 months of 2024/25 marketing year (July-June, MY), Ukraine exported 40.4 thsd tonnes of wheat flour, down 36% compared to the same period of the previous marketing year and almost twice less than in 2022-2023 MY.
This is evidenced by the data of the State Customs Service, according to the Union of Millers of Ukraine.
The main market for Ukrainian wheat flour in the current season is the EU countries.
In particular, out of the total volume of exported Ukrainian wheat flour, about 17 thousand tons were sent to the EU countries, almost 12.4 thousand tons – to Moldova, 8.1 thousand tons – to Palestine, and another 1.5 thousand tons – to Israel.
As reported, in July 2024, Ukraine, together with the World Food Program (WFP), began supplying flour to Palestine, said the head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak.
In total, under the initiative, Ukraine planned to deliver more than 7,000 tons of wheat flour to Gaza with the support of donors, including Norway, Austria, Estonia, France, and Iceland.
