EU 2023/24 soft wheat exports at 31 mln T by June 30

Soft wheat exports from the European Union since the start of the 2023/24 season in July had reached 31.00 million metric tons by June 30, compared with 31.60 million a year earlier, data published by the European Commission showed on Tuesday.
EU barley exports totalled 5.88 million tons, against 6.66 million tons in the corresponding period in 2022/23, while EU maize imports were at 19.37 million tons, against a year-earlier 26.45 million.
However, the Commission said grain export figures for France were not complete since the beginning of calendar year 2024.
Data for Bulgaria and Ireland are not complete since the beginning of marketing year 2023/24, the Commission said.
